In our pop-up store in Merano, Verliebt by Alessia Borrelli offers a tailoring experience of the highest caliber. Each dress combines South Tyrolean tradition with sophisticated Italian design: inspired by Dirndls, but designed to shine as a unique, regal, and versatile wedding dress. Verliebt brides don't have to choose between tradition and dreams: they live both.

    FAQ: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE VERLIEBT STORE IN MERAN

    What are the opening hours?

    We want to accommodate the needs of the couples and therefore offer flexible opening hours from Monday to Sunday. After you submit your appointment request, you will be asked about your preferable days and times. Based on this, we will suggest you various options.

    Can I stop by spontaneously or do I need to make an appointment?

    For the reasons mentioned above, we are currently only available by appointment.

    How long does the consultation take?

    The duration varies depending on the type of appointment: The initial consultation and clothing selection can take up to two hours, while the next fittings take about an hour. In any case, the store will be entirely at your disposal, and we will never pressure you.

    How many and which styles can I try on during the appointment?

    There’s no limit to the number of dresses you can try on; this depends on how the appointment goes. After you request an appointment, our designer Alessia will have a brief conversation with you. She will ask you specific questions to determine the style and features of your perfect dress. During your consultation, you’ll find a selection of dresses to try on, but of course, you can also pick other styles out of the selection. Some people find their perfect dress right away, others only after three trials. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

    How many people can I bring to the appointment?

    A maximum of three guests are allowed at the consultation appointment. This number is important so that the bride can receive sufficient advice without being overwhelmed by too many opinions. Therefore, please choose carefully who you bring with you.

    How far in advance should I book an appointment?

    We recommend booking an appointment at least 8 months before your wedding to ensure the widest selection of styles and the best customisation options possible. A bespoke style requires a minimum of 6 to 8 months to make.

    We're getting married soon and I don't have a dress yet. Could I still find something?

    Of course, our atelier in Merano also offers a wide selection of dresses, matching sets and accessories for brides who are getting married at the last minute, which you can take home immediately after your appointment. However, we recommend visiting the store at least a month before your wedding to get a wider selection, have your dress altered to your measurements and to enjoy a relaxed shopping experience!
